# Overview

Thred provides a customizable Migration Page that allows your customer to connect to a platform of their choosing and migrate their data over. Thred receives the data, and calls each connector's **Destination Webhook** with the data in a unified schema, per platform type (CRM, HRIS, Accounting, Issue Tracking, Hosting Platforms).

Eventually, we plan on supporting direct connections to your database.

### **Set up Thred**

Once you've created an account on Thred: 

**Add a redirect URL** in the dashboard, this is the URL the Thred migration page will redirect to after the customer finishes moving their data.

Copy your **CLIENT ID** and **API Key**.
